Updating Electronic Databases
While SPD makes every effort to notify the largest electronic databases about your new title, we encourage publishers to send information on their own to the following sources:
Baker & Taylor:
Publishers can help their books reach readers by making sure that your titles are in Baker & Taylor's database. Please send one (1) review copyto EBIS Information Maagement to ensure that all data on their database is complete and accurate. Please send review copies to:

Amazon.com:
Please note that Amazon (and thus Borders.com) has changed their method of gathering database information. They now accept database information for new titles from only three sources:
1) The Ingram database
2) The Baker & Taylor database
3) Directly from publishers signed up in the Amazon Advantage program.
This means that SPD cannot make changes to even incorrect data on Amazon's site, and we cannot help our publishers get listed there.
However, since SPD does provide database information to Baker & Taylor, all SPD titles should eventually make it to Amazon (once Baker &Taylor checks, approves and loads the data, and once Amazon then gets a new update from Baker &Taylor, etc.).
