Laurie King
Laurie King Language of Bees
Broadside

Laurie King Signed Posters & Books

SPD has wanted to have Ms. King as a “Bee-In” speller for years, particularly since bees and beekeeping are such a central part of her flourishing career as a novelist!

Laurie R. King is a third generation Northern Californian who has lived most of her life in the San Francisco Bay area. In 1994, The Beekeeper’s Apprentice was published, featuring young Mary Russell who becomes an apprentice then a partner of beekeeper Sherlock Holmes in early 20th century England. Books in that series now appear regularly to great acclaim and “buzz,” taking the duo and their cohorts on into the Twenties and around the world.

This auction item is a lot of TWO signed and framed Laurie R. King posters ("The Birth of the Green Man" and "A Venomous Death") plus signed copies of TWO her books, The God of the Hive and The Language of Bees, all in an attractive bag.
