True Love

by Hela Babrak

Hela Babrak
Today it seemed like a normal day for her,
She hanged out with her friends and had fun.
And surely she was done with the guys for sure,
But little did she know that she wasn't done.

So that day she met the guy of her dreams.
Friends around, still didn't know it was him.
Talk, giggle, laugh, both fell in love it seems.
He asked her "What's your name?" She said, "It's Kim."

Held hands, promised to give each other their heart.
She was there to visit, had to go back home.
Lived miles away, it hurt to be apart,
He told her it hurt to be so alone.

Promised to see each other as much as they could,

They kept their promise, like they said they would.
