Dear Sadness

Dear Sadness,
Why are you pounding at my brain? Why
are you shouting at me? Who is the one to
blame? When you're around I feel as if I'm sitting
in tree bark and the pain is unbearable. The
neon green lights from your ray hurt my eyes,
decay. Why did you make my pink lips violet
from the coldness you display? Why can't I skip
anymore? You have stolen all of my joy away.
