A SUNY English Professor-Emeritus, Vince Clemente is the author of numerous biographies and collections of verse. His work has appeared in New York Times, Newsday, the Boston Book Review, VIA, the South Carolina Review, Blue Unicorn, and the Cumberland Poetry Review. As a visiting lecturer, he has spoken at Hofstra, C.W. Post, Southampton College, SUNY Albany, Oswego, and Binghamton. In addition, Clemente served for many years as trustee for the Walt Whitman Birthplace and was founding editor of West Hills Review: A Walt Whitman Journal.
