Poetry. Latino/Latina Studies. Rod Ricardo-Livingstone was born and raised in Fresno, California. Part of the first generation in his family to be removed from the long hours and hard work of the agricultural fields, he expresses in his work his appreciation of and love for his family. He is a member of the Royal Chicano Navy based in Fresno under the admiralship of Gary Soto. Ricardo-Livingstone currently works as a high school teacher in Carlsbad, CA.
