Clara Fraser (1923-1998) lived her working class politics with style and aplomb, earning the title Grande Dame of Socialism bestowed on her by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. She was a founder and leader of the Freedom Socialist Party and Radical Women, and an editor and columnist for the Freedom Socialist newspaper, where her Socialism for Skeptics series first appeared.
