Poetry. MOTHER'S MILK is a series of thirty poems written over a period of about thirty years. It charts the psychological renewal of the poet and his journey from alcohol dependency to sobriety. This slow awakening takes him from a dark night of depression and despair to a place of reconciliation and wholeness.
