Shulamith Wechter Caine is the recipient of a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Fellowship in Literature and has participated in its Poets in the Schools Program since 1987. She has lectured under the auspices of the United States Information Agency in India, Bangladesh, Taiwan, the Philippines and Germany.
