Thilleman, who in the 1980s began the reading series at CBGB's 313 Gallery on the Bowery, is the publisher of Spuyten Duyvil and the author of many books of poetry and fiction, including SONIC MODEL, A WORLD OF NOTHING BUT NATIONS, and BETWEEN, all available at SPD. Jensen is the recipient of many awards for his artwork, including a Caps grant, a National Endowment Grant, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and an American Arts and Letters Award. Tod Thilleman moved to New York at the age of 18 and worked for a brief period with Pace Editions. He is the author of numerous poetry collections—including A WORLD OF NOTHING BUT SELF-INFLICTION: A FOUR-PART INFLECTION (TWICE TOLD), THREE SEA MONSTERS, ROOT-CELLAR TO RIVERINE, BREATHING, THREE MOUTHS, BLANK VERSE, and ENTELECHY—and the novel GOWANUS CANAL, HANS KNUDSEN. From 1991-1999 he was editor of Poetry New York: a journal of poetry & translation.
