Tod Thilleman moved to New York at the age of 18 and worked for a brief period with Pace Editions. He is the author of numerous poetry collections—including A WORLD OF NOTHING BUT SELF-INFLICTION: A FOUR-PART INFLECTION (TWICE TOLD), THREE SEA MONSTERS, ROOT-CELLAR TO RIVERINE, BREATHING, THREE MOUTHS, BLANK VERSE, and ENTELECHY—and the novel GOWANUS CANAL, HANS KNUDSEN.
