Poetry. The Author's Note that forms a brief foreword to his poems orients the reader in postcard landscapes of Berlin, Geneva, and Amsterdam. Since closing down my darkroom on health grounds in 1989, I have contented myself with not taking photographs but buying postcards of other people's photos wherever I travel. I worked as a poet in three European Cities from 1996 to 1998. These are the poems I wrote from the postcards I bought.
