Magazine. Poetry. Fiction. Literary Nonfiction. Art. BOMBAY GIN is the literary journal of the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University, co-founded by Allen Ginsberg and Anne Waldman. Emerging from the "outrider" lineage, which operates outside the cultural mainstream, BOMBAY GIN publishes poetry, prose, and hybrid texts as well as art, translations, interviews, and book reviews. Each issue includes a lecture transcribed from the Naropa Audio Archives, comprised of six thousand hours of tapes documenting classes, performances, workshops, and lectures conducted at Naropa since 1974 by many of the leading figures of the literary avant-garde.

Issue 38.2 is dedicated to "Writing and Art from Colorado's Front Range" and includes work from Reed Bye, Julie Carr, Noah Eli Gordon, j/j hastain, Bobbie Louise Hawkins, Bin Ramke, Edwin Torres, and Anne Waldman, as well as Selah Saterstrom's lecture and Ricky Moody's song from the Naropa Audio Archive. The issue also includes reviews of books by Richard Froude, Haruki Murakami, Eric Baus, Joanna Ruocco, and Chris Martin.
