Fiction. How might the Civil War have ended differently? That is the rife question PERISH FROM THE EARTH proposes. In a fully realized story comprising fine literary artisanship, Perry Lentz conceives the riveting tale of a Confederate provocateur in 1863 Manhattan who changes the course and outcome of the War Between the States.
