Nancy Morejón is one of Cuba's outstanding contemporary poets. An award-winning poet whose work is widely anthologised, Afro-Cuban Morejón is also a critic, essayist, literary researcher and Director of the Centre for Caribbean Studies at Casa de Las Americas in La Habana.
