Poetry. BONNEVILLE by Jenny Mueller is the winner of the Editors' Prize in the Elixir Press Sixth Annual Poetry Awards. Jenny Mueller grew up among the small towns north of Chicago--now a series of corporate parks and malls. She holds degrees from the University of Chicago, the University of Iowa Writers Workshop, and the University of Utah. Currently, she is back in the Midwest where she teaches at McKendree College in St. Louis and lives with her husband, Brian Young. Her poems have appeared in such publications as American Literary Review, Atlantic Monthly, Chicago Review, Fence, New American Writing, TriQuarterly, and Volt.
