Marina Temkina is a Russian-born poet-artist, an author of five books of poetry and two artist books in collaboration with Michel Gerard. Among literary awards and fellowships, Marina Temkina received National Endowment for the Arts in 1994. She was an artist-in-residence at Transregional Center for Democratic Studies at New School for Social Research and the Charles Revson Fellow on the Future of New York at Columbia University. Michel Gerard was born in Paris, France. He worked on site-specific public sculpture in France, Germany, Korea, Italy, Greece, Israel and the United States, has had more than fifty solo exhibitions, and his work is represented in private and public collections internationally. Marina Temkina and Michel Gerard live together in New York City.
