Poetry. The first book to surface by Portland-based poet Maryrose Larkin, THE BOOK OF OCEAN is "informed by a counterpoint between time & vision"--Andrew Joron. Larkin's delicate, intelligent line is an enabling environment in which "time conflates" and "language is the connective by which vastly disparate concepts--love, snow, mathematics, gravity--flow one to another, reported with meticulous grace"--Judith Roitman.
