Poetry. Art. Building on New York's long history of painter and poet collaborations, this striking art and text project features nearly thirty paintings and poems by Ted Greenwald and Hal Saulson. Because his work always involves linguistic and formal invention, Ted Greenwald has often been associated with the Language Writers, but he is unmistakably a New York poet and even, given his street-wise sensibility and his long association with visual art and artists, a New York School poet. Typeset and designed by Kyle Schlesinger, the dimensions of the images are true to the original works of art. The sparkling metallic covers were printed letterpress and the images and text were printed offset. Handsewn in two signatures.
