Little Brother

By Kayla Tate

Young minded and innocent
Cute, cuddly and somewhat quiet

Chubby cheeks, with small slanted eyes
Just two little teeth showing
A little conductor

So many young memories
Stuck from just one photo
Years go by
To find another photo

So different from time and style

Oh little brother

Yet this picture
Shows a young man
With all teeth showing

No more chubby cheeks
No more little conductor
Now a young teenager

Just this one picture
Can show all of his
Accomplishments

No longer irritating
Always snitching always gotta
Have his way
Little brother

He’s now the smart, almost grown
Understanding, nurturing
Young man

Not so little anymore
He’s now my big
Little brother
