Perspective

By Octavio Alex Espinoza

Find me today
Find me another way
Find my breath
Hovering near your face
Find me again
Find me once
Find me inside yourself

I take it that
You’re left astray
That something inside of you
Has gone away
Is there any hope left for you?
Cuz when you think about it
Is there anything left to do

Reality is all around us
But can we ever truly feel?
The winds and rain
Wash away these figments of
Our imagination.
Drown out the moon and the stars
Fly through the streets and the cars

And take me away
Take me and feel
With all that is real
What finally comes to a close.
When he end knows no bounds
And find out new grounds
Can we think about it
Another way?

Can we change all of our dreams?
Our emotions can blow away
But what about the beam
Of light that’s taken out
Turn me off and on

This world of ours is gone
But where are all the people
Who think that life is more than
What we see?

Lost in your own mind
Think of everything you find
Is it ever what you’re truly
Looking for?

Find me today
Find me another way
Hovering near your face
Find me again
Find me once
Find me inside yourself
