and this post contaisn a poem i wrote for some one special and wanted to share

by Jereme Dean

i can't get that rat out of my mind

it ran right by my foot

it was quick

i thought rats were ferocious

with their yellow fangs

and hiss/growl noise

like warriors

but this rat wasn't like that

he was small and grey

he was tiny compared

to what notion i have of rats

he was not a warrior

he was a runner

he just wanted to be left alone

and find some place safe

i can empathize with that

actually the rat

was beautiful

you find beauty

in the strangest

of places

i guess
