Syllabi with SPD Titles
Graduate Writing Workshop, Susan Schultz
This will be a reading and a writing workshop; we will read as writers and write as readers. We will spend a lot of time on students' work and on questions of poetics (the whys and wherefores of writing). Each student will be expected to write and self-publish a small book of poems by the end of the semester, along with a prose introduction. Active and gently critical participation will be expected, as well attendance at (and participation in) community readings.
