Jean Rae Baxter writes for both an adult general audience and for young readers. Her five-volume "Forging a Nation" series of young adult novels about the United Empire Loyalists and their First Nations allies, published by Ronsdale Press, has won many awards. Most recently she is the author of THE WHITE ONEIDA (2014) and HOPE'S JOURNEY (2015), also published by Ronsdale. Jean lives in Hamilton, Ontario.
