Richard Levine is the author of That Country's Soul (Finishing Line Press, 2010), A Language Full of Wars and Songs (Pollack Press, 2004), and Snapshots from a Battle (Headwaters Press/BigCityLit 2001). His collection, A TIDE OF A HUNDRED MOUNTAINS (Bright Hill Press, 2012) won the annual Bright Hill Press Poetry Chapbook Competition. His poem "Believe This" was featured in former Poet Laureate Ted Kosser's column, "American Life in Poetry." In 2010, Mr. Levine was runner-up for the 2010 William Stafford Award for Poetry. A retired teacher, he is learning to steward a forest.
