Jeanne Powell has earned degrees from WSU in Detroit and USF in San Francisco. She writes prose poems, flash fiction and short stage plays. Her works include TWO SEASONS (Taurean Horn Press, 2019), WORD DANCING (Taurean Horn Press, 2016), and MY OWN SILENCE (Taurean Horn Press, 2014). Jeanne's collection of essays, Carousel, was published by Regent Press. For ten years she hosted an acclaimed spoken word series, Celebration of the Word. She is the inspiration behind Meridien PressWorks which has published 20 authors since 1996.
