Charlotte Matthews grew up in Washington, DC, graduated from The University of Virginia and The MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College. Her honors include fellowships from The Chatauqua Institute, The Sewanee Writers Conference, and The Virginia Center for Creative Arts. This is her third collection of poetry, following Still Enough to Be Dreaming and Green Stars (both Iris Press). Assistant Professor in The Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies Program at The University of Virginia, she lives in Crozet, Virginia, with her husband, two children, one black lab and a hive of honey bees.
