Author: Keith Emmons

A cum laude graduate of Harvard College, Keith Emmons lived ten years in a waterfront houseboat community on San Francisco Bay in the free-wheeling hippie days of the 1970s. Here he wrote poetry and designed and built a 1900 square foot floating home that won a first place award from the National Endowment for the Arts. Its blueprints are in the permanent collection of the National Building Museum, Washington, DC His poems have appeared in San Francisco area journals including City Miner, Espresso, Loon, CoEvolution Quarterly, Sausalito Marinscope, Garlic Press, and more recently, online in Uut Poetry. Keith's work has also been featured in American Airlines Magazine, San Francisco Chronicle, the houseboat book and in two made-for- television broadcasts. He lives off the grid in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
