Author: Sarah Van Arsdale

Sarah Van Arsdale is the author of four books of fiction in addition to the book-length poem, THE CATAMOUNT (Little Nomad / Nomadic Press, 2017). She is currently finishing her sixth book, a novel titled MADRUGADA set in Oaxaca, Mexico, in 2006. A winner of the Peter Taylor Prize for the novel and a finalist in several international and national writing contests, she serves on the board of the Ferro- Grumley Award in LGBTQ Fiction. She is on the fiction faculty at the Antioch-LA low-residency MFA program and teaches at New York University; she has taught creative writing at Bar-Ilan University in Tel Aviv, Sarah Lawrence College, the University of Vermont, Vermont College, and elsewhere.
