Author: Donald Wellman, Anne-Marie Albiach, & Jean Daive

Poet, translator, and editor Donald Wellman was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, and attended the University of New Hampshire. Following military service, he earned a PhD from the University of Oregon. His collections of poetry include ROMAN EXERCISES (2015), THE CRANBERRY ISLAND SERIES (2013), A NORTH ATLANTIC WALL (2010), PROLOG PAGES (2009), Baroque Threads (2007), Fields (1995), and The House in the Fields (1992). He has translated several volumes, including Antonio Gamoneda's Gravestones (2009) and DESCRIPTION OF THE LIE (2014); Emilio Prados' Enclosed Garden (2013); and Yvan Goll's Neila, Evening Song: Last Poems of Yvan Goll (2016). In 2015, the University of Valencia published a bilingual selection of his own writing, Remando de noche: La Poesía de Donald Wellman / Night Rowing: The Poetry of Donald Wellman. He is the founding editor of O.ARS,an annual anthology of poetry and poetics.
