Steven J. Belluscio, Professor of English at Borough of Manhattan Community College/CUNY, is the author of To Be Suddenly White: Literary Realism and Racial Passing (2006). Belluscio has also edited reprints of the three Garibaldi M. Lapolla novels and Constructing a Bibliography: the American Italian Historical Association, 1968-2003. His latest book is GARIBALDI M. LAPOLLA: A Study of His Novels. He lives in the Poconos with his wife and children.
