Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Sarah McKinstry-Brown earned her MFA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and is the recipient of a Tennessee Williams Scholarship in Poetry from the Sewanee Writers' Conference, two Nebraska Book Awards, and an Academy of American Poets Prize. Author of Cradling Monsoons, her poems appear in RATTLE, Ruminate, Smartish Pace, South Dakota Review, Sugar House Review, and elsewhere. Sarah lives in Omaha with the poet Matt Mason and their two wicked-smart daughters.
