Russell Atkins is a poet, music theorist, dramatist, and composer. In 2017 he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Cleveland Arts Prize. He co-founded Free Lance, the avant-garde publishing house and literary journal, and his works include the collection Here In The (CSU Poetry Center, 1976).
