Stu Watson is an artist based in Brooklyn. Founder and editor of the literary journal Prelude, his poems and essays have appeared in Denver Quarterly, PANK, SAND, Queen Mob's Teahouse, White Wall Review, Posit, Brooklyn Poets Anthology and in many other journals. His translations of selections from Baudelaire's Le Spleen de Paris were published in the volume The Poor by Maquokeeta in 2010. His paintings and prints have appeared in Fjords Review and Lavender Review, and his visual works were featured in a solo show at The Yard in New York City during the summer of 2018. A teacher in the CUNY system, COMMUNICATINGROUPS is his first full- length poetry collection.
