Scott Nadelson teaches at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, and is the author of six previous books, including The Fourth Corner of the World, an Association of Jewish Libraries honoree, The Cantor's Daughter, winner of the Goldberg Prize for Emerging Jewish Writers, and Saving Stanley, winner of the Oregon Book Award and named a significant book by the Union of Reform Judaism. His work has appeared widely in such publications as Ploughshares, Harvard Review, and Southern Review.
