Author: Tricia Taylor

Tricia Taylor based these mostly fictional short stories on over 40 years of nursing experience in four southern states in the U.S. She received her BSN, RN at FSU in 1976, and MSN at USM in psychiatric nursing in 1992. Her experiences included cancer nursing, hospice, med-surg, pediatrics, newborn nursery, teaching psychiatric nursing in a nursing program for twenty years, and then a return to med -surg, ER, quality control nursing, and finally psychiatric nursing, until her recent retirement. This collection highlights a career that was usually exhausting, sometimes tragic, frequently infuriating, occasionally funny, and consistently rewarding. She now lives with her husband Joe Taylor, writer and publisher, and 11 rescue pets in rural Alabama.
