Caleb Dros is an emerging St. Martin writer. The winner of the Steven D. Schloff Creative Writing Award for non- fiction, is pursuing his Master of Fine Arts at Florida State University. His poetry has appeared in Adelaide Literary Magazine, The Daily Herald, Windhover, and Oakland Art Review. OUALICHI: LAND OF OMA is the first publication by Caleb Dros. The chapbook is dedicated to his great grandmother, Élisa Hyman, who as a young woman worked in the Orient Bay salt pond of St. Martin.
