Connie Post served as the first Poet Laureate of Livermore, California. Her work has appeared in Calyx,2 River, American Journal of Poetry, The Pedestal Magazine River Styx, Slipstream, The Slippery Elm, Split Rock Review, Spoon River Poetry Review, Valparaiso Poetry Review and Verse Daily. Her awards include the Crab Creek Review Poetry, the Liakoura Award, and the Caesura Award. Her full-length collections (Glass Lyre Press) include Floodwater (2014) which won the Lyrebird award. Her second book Prime Meridian (2020) was a finalist in the International Book Award and was named a distinguished favorite in the Independent Book Awards.
