Author: Samuel R Delany

Samuel R. Delany Jr. is a novelist and short fiction author, essayist, memoirist, literary critic, editor, retired professor of English, and more. He has written extensively on sexuality and society. His novels include VOYAGE, ORESTES!, Through the Valley of the Nest of Spiders, Dark Reflections, Babel-17, The Einstein Intersection, Nova, Dhalgren, and the recent novella The Atheist in the Attic. He also wrote a memoir, HEAVENLY BREAKFAST: AN ESSAY ON THE WINTER OF LOVE. Delany was inducted by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame in 2002. The Science Fiction Writers of America named him its 30th SFWA Grand Master in 2013.
