Mark Tursi is the author of Shiftless Days (Noemi Press), THE IMPOSSIBLE PICNIC (BlazeVOX [books]), and BRUTAL SYNECDOCHE (Astrophil Press). He is editor of the literary and visual arts journal Double Room and co-editor of Apostrophe Books, an innovative press devoted to publishing poetry that intersects philosophy and cultural theory. He is a professor of writing and literature at New Jersey City University and a fine arts lecturer at the Museum of Modern Art in New York where he teaches courses on the interchange between writers and visual artists.
