Author Bio
Roxanne Power is founder and editor of Viz. Inter-Arts, a trans-genre anthology series published at UC Santa Cruz where she teaches and is President of the lecturers' union, UC-AFT. She has written and performed in several inter-arts forms, including Neo-Benshi (live film narration) at The Provincetown Tennessee Williams Festival, REDCAT, The Poetry Project, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, and elsewhere. Her poems and essays have been published in numerous journals and anthologies including WAR AND PEACE 2: POETRY & ESSAYS (O Books) and Impossible to Hold: Women and Culture in the 1960s (NYU Press). She won an AWP Intro award in poetry and has an MFA from Cornell University.
