Author Bio
Yoon-Soo Park was born in Yecheon, North Gyeongsang Province in 1929. He graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Physics. He received his Master's degree from the University of Alberta, Canada, and his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Cincinnati, USA; he received an honorary Doctor of Science degree. from Jeonbuk National University. Park was also a visiting professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Seoul National University and Johns Hopkins University. He made his literary debut by receiving the Korean Expatriate Literary "New Poet Award." In 2018, he won the Creative Literature's "New Poet Award" in S. Korea. In 2020, he received the 21st Annual Korean Expatriate Literary Award. He has published three volumes of poetry book. In addition to poetry books, he published his Memoir Gazing at the Ever-Blue Sky in 2021. He serves as Vice- President of the Korean Expatriate Literary Association.
