Poetry. This bilingual (English-Chinese) collection of mostly narrative poetry based on real experiences by Sultan Catto, translated into Chinese by Chen Zhang, is the latest of a series of similar poetry translated into other languages, including Albanian, Italian, and Spanish. This is a co-publication by the New Feral Press & Cross-Cultural Communications, both located on Long Island, NY.
Author Bio
Sultan Catto is a bilingual Turkish-American poet who has published nine volumes of poetry. His works have been translated into twenty-eight languages and appear in many anthologies. His poems, composed in English and Turkish, have been nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and he is the recent recipient of the European Medal for Poetry and Literature (Homer Medal, 2018) also the European Medal for Sciences, Arts and Literature (EASAL) given at the French Senate in Paris (2020) and the Cross-Cultural Communications Literary Arts Medal (2020) in New York. He is a professor of Mathematical Physics and Ex-ecutive Officer of Ph.D. Program in Physics at the CUNY Graduate School, and a professor at the Rockefeller Uni-versity. He has been the host of the monthly Yale Poetry Series at the Yale Club in New York for over two decades. He has taught at Yale and Columbia Universities and is on numerous International Advisory Boards in Mathematics and Physics around the globe and is a winner of many international honors.

Chen Zhang's acclaimed translation works have been published in mainland China, Taiwan, and the United States, on subjects from history, and biographies to contemporary art. He has lectured on art, language, and calligraphy at colleges and cultural institutions. He is also an invited contributor to the GALE DICTIONARY OF LITERARY BIOGRAPHY. He lives in New York City.
