This edition of THE DIVINE KISS is bilingual (English-Persian/Farsi), translated into Persian/Farsi by Sepideh Zamani, a co-publication with Mehri Publications Ltd (UK) & Cross-Cultural Communications (USA). It includes both paintings and poems in honor of David Campagna.
Carolyn Mary Kleefeld, born in Catford, England, grew up in southern California, where she studied art and psychology at UCLA. She is the author of 19 books, a variety of which are used as inspirational texts in universities and healing centers worldwide, and are featured along with the writings of seven other acclaimed woman writers in a continuing course, "The Other Half of the Sky: Eight Woman Writers," taught at Swansea University in Wales by poet and publisher Peter Thabit Jones. Carolyn's poetry and prose have been nominated for The Pushcart Prize, and her first book, Climates of the Mind, (iUniverse, 2005), was translated into Braille by the Library of Congress. Her writings have been translated into Korean, Romanian, Japanese, Italian, Sicilian, Chinese, Arabic, Bengali, and Bulgarian. The Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art at Pepperdine University exhibited a retrospective of Carolyn's paintings and drawings and published an exhibition catalog, Carolyn Mary Kleefeld: Visions from Big Sur, with art from the exhibit and a commentary by museum curator and director, Michael Zakian, PhD. Carolyn's art appears on book covers and is featured internationally in galleries, museums, private collections, and multimedia.
Sepideh Zamani, born in Iran, graduated from law school in 1999 and moved to the United States a year later. Her essays, short stories, and novels focus on immigration, gender inequality, and the lives of ethnic and religious minorities under cultural cleansing and forced assimilation. Her book collections include: Barbuda, short stories, published in Persian in 2016; Ouroboros, her first novel, published in London in 2018; and Women Looking at the Sky, short stories, published in Persian in 2019.Author City: POTOMAC, MD USA
