Author Bio
Thomas Fink, born in New York City in 1954, is the author of eight previous books of poetry—most recently, Joyride (Marsh Hawk Press, 2013). He has authored two books of criticism, including A Different Sense of Power: Problems of Community in Late-Twentieth Century U.S. Poetrry (Fairleigh Dickinson University Press, 2001), and has co-edited two collections of criticism, including Reading the Difficulties: Dialogues with Contemporary American Innovative Poetry (University of Alabama Press, 2014). His poem, "Yinglish Strophes 9," was selected for The Best American Poetry 2007 (Scribner's) by Heather McHugh and David Lehman. His paintings hang in various collections. Fink is Professor of English at City University of New York-LaGuardia.
