Description
Poetry. Art. Music. NO REALTOR WAS COMPENSATED FOR THIS SALE is a warm, angry contradiction: a hostile yet open interrogation of the temporal and material conditions of austerity at the height of Greece's ongoing economic crisis, written in and against a neoliberal regime with an anger and love that isn't wispy, lofty, or well-considered. Especially preoccupied with different species of time, NO REALTOR WAS COMPENSATED FOR THIS SALE juxtaposes voices from conversation, speech, and written statements from both known and unknown mouths, from the past and present, to consider the duration of declarative statements, like poetry.
