Description
Poetry. "For decades, artist B. Amore has elegantly imagined and chronicled the Italian American experience, turning artifacts into talismans and revealing how the past continues to pulse within us. What a joy to see her artist's eye turn to poetry. In this shimmering new collection, B. Amore connects the thread of memory, conjuring ancestors and ancestresses with a sculptor's precision, and tackling universal themes of love and loss, family, faith, parenthood, and aging with wisdom and grace. JOURNEYS ON THE WHEEL, like all of Amore's luminous work, informs and delights."—Maria Laurino
