Fiction. At the end of the 18th century, two grave robbers, a secretive doctor, the village midwife, and the young sole survivor of a mysterious disease combine to tell a story in the strange coastal village of Chilling. Imagined as a prequel to Dickens' Great Expectations.
Zana Previti was born and raised in New England. She earned her MFA in fiction from the University of California, Irvine, and her MFA in poetry from the University of Idaho. Her work has been published in New England Review, Hayden's Ferry Review, American Poetry Review, Ninth Letter, and elsewhere. She was the recipient of Poetry International's 2014 C.P.
