Janine Puntureri Certo is also author of the full-length poetry collection IN THE CORNER OF THE LIVING (Main Street Rag, 2017). Her poems appear or are forthcoming in The Cincinnati Review, The Greensboro Review, Italian Americana, Mid-American Review, New Ohio Review, Poetry Northwest, Shenandoah, Vallum and others. Her poems earned second prize in Nimrod's 2020 Pablo Neruda Prize for Poetry. Born in Pittsburgh with degrees from the University of Virginia (MA) and Virginia Commonwealth University (PhD), she lives in East Lansing, Michigan where she is an associate professor at Michigan State University.
