Description
Fiction. "The Clifton Probasco fountain on the cover could have been sketched by the author/illustrator at age nine, but unfortunately fear knocked him at an early age. His faith, restored later when he traveled the world—seeking solace—some comfort never found at his Clifton home. Not yet. He found a purpose in the finished edges of the sketches and vignettes herein. Mr. Lansky, at work on long novels, short stories, and poems, took this glimpse of love, ancestry, and whimsy with a handful of wise observations, all struck sharply as a stone struck a blade from another stone."—Steven Paul Lansky
Author Bio
Steven Paul Lansky is a resident of Clifton in Cincinnati, where he walks daily without a dog, and sometimes carries an umbrella to protect him from the spring and fall rain. He enjoys the magnolias, flowering crabapples, peonies, daffodils, and hydrangeas. His years of commitment to the neighborhood date to the 1960s with a gap from 1975-1991. He loves to sit on a dilapidated loveseat that clutters the stone porch where ideas float by like bicycles, to snag with his clear and unfettered mind, where he once pedaled regularly.
